I have been visiting friends and family in southern Ohio the last few days and want to share my friend's garden with you. The home she shares with her husband and raised their two kids in, is beautiful, inside and out.
The wooded lot is filled with stately shade trees, ornamentals and fruit trees and lots of perennials. It overlooks a golf course with rolling hills.
This little jewel box of a greenhouse was recently installed.
I wish there was more definition in this shot to see the gorgeous Gingko tree clearly.
Brunnera and ferns
Lucy, my little girlfriend, who shares the guest room with me when I visit.
She has an eclectic collection of containers and garden art sprinkled throughout the property.
Was lucky to see the wisteria was in bloom over the driveway wall.
Beautiful pink dogwood in the front walled garden.
Anemone
She has sun for a vegetable garden in the front side yard. She created an S shaped bed with supports for peas
Don't you love Mickie's garden? I do!
Thanks for visiting!

What a magnificent property. You can just tell that the owners have loved every inch of that yard. I have never been to Ohio and had no idea homes looked like this. Really fun!
ReplyDeleteThe anemones are out already? wow, never seen them so early! And the peonies are to die for: I can never have, or see, enough of them.
