our little pig's passing

Sad news over here.
Our daughter's little cherished guinea pig that lived in NYC with her passed away suddenly yesterday. Many tears are being shed for our beloved little Marshmallow. Enjoy some shots of her having a fun day in Central Park last summer.

Losing a pet never gets easier, no matter how old you are or how many you have had.

Wasn't she the cutest little pig ever? She was an actress too, starring in a full length movie a few years ago made in college by some of our daughter's friends.

Hug and kiss your pets today, you never know what day might be their last. Marshmallow appeared happy and healthy with no signs of illness. Rest in peace little pig.

Our daughter (who works in advertising at Hearst/House Beautiful) met Martyn Lawrence Bullard, at the Kips Bay Showhouse in NYC yesterday. Said he is quite a sweetie! She took lots of shots with her phone of the rooms, will post later...

She and some friends were in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn recently and happened onto some graffiti that the boroughs are so famous for. I love the work of this artist. The message is "Be kind and generous".
