What a fun place to spend the afternoon. Petersham Nurseries in the exclusive West London borough of Richmond, is a great destination for gardeners. A cafe and teahouse with food prepared with produce from their own gardens, amazing large scale topiaries, beautiful displays and plants, this nursery is a must see when visiting The Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, Hampton Court gardens or Wimbledon.

It is one of my favorite places in London.....actually right outside of London. I've only been once.....took us 4 ever to drive there. Traffic was horrible, but so worth it. Really, really lovely. The displays were so original and charming. This little gardener did not want to leave :-)

We try to get here as often as possible. Such a tranquil oasis. I always feel rejuvenated whatever time of year it is after a little lunch and a little shopping at Petersham's.
