Hi everyone!
I have not made time for blogging these days, it has been a busy January for us. Ordinarily we lie low at this time of year. We were in Ohio for the holidays with family then visited more family in Florida in early January with a visit to Thomasville, Georgia on the way home. Some visits to
Atlanta, Asheville, Hendersonville, and Flat Rock, NC in between and I just returned from a visit to NYC with a friend to see our daughter and view the Matisse cut-outs show at MoMA. Finally home before heading to Mobile Bay and New Orleans next month. We are loving rediscovering the South.

Some Florida photos...
We stayed in Indian Rocks Beach near family in Largo and Bellair. Indian Rocks has an Old Florida feel, quaint, with old cottages on the beach.
Gorgeous agave at the entrance.
The building, by Yann Weymouth is great
and so fun to see Picasso and Dali's works exhibited together as they were working at the same time and were very influenced by each other. No cameras inside the exhibit though.
Pretty view of the St. Petersburg marina from the museum.
Will share some more January travels soon....
Thanks for visiting!
Cindy
We are headed to Sanibel and then Sarasota in February: love both those places. It's been such a mild, lovely winter here (thank goodness!) that I don't feel any great need to go, but still, it will be nice to walk on the beach.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back in N.C. before the big snow storm hits up north?
Indian Rocks Beach looks lovely! How nice to take a trip to Florida in the middle of winter!! Thanks for sharing photos of the Dali Museum, too. It looks very cool. Yes, please do share more photos from your travels, Cindy.
